The Convention on the Rights of the Child is a true milestone in the history of children. Today, its principles are part of the legislation of most countries in the world and continue to influence regulations and practices. However, the Convention still remains an abstract text for those who work closely with children, including in healthcare. This book aims to fill that gap by introducing children’s rights in healthcare practice to paediatric, general medicine and nursing students and other healthcare professionals who are interested.
